What is CalQore?
CalQore is cost calculation and work preparation software for sheet metal fabrication. It imports your CAD files (DXF, STEP and more), calculates manufacturing costs based on your own materials, machines and operations, optimizes material usage through nesting, and produces quotes, reports and production-ready output in one connected workflow.
Who is CalQore built for?
CalQore is built for sheet metal fabrication shops. It supports estimators and sales engineers who quote jobs, production managers who plan materials and track costs, and shop owners who want visibility into margins and revenue. No programming or CAD expertise is required to use it.
Is CalQore just quoting software?
No. Quoting is one phase of a wider workflow. CalQore guides every project through four phases: Request, Define, Quote and Production. These cover CAD import, cost calculation, nesting, manufacturability checks, quote PDFs and CAM export. The quote is an output of the workflow, not the whole product.
When is CalQore not the right fit?
CalQore is focused on sheet metal and tube fabrication: cutting, bending and related operations. If your work does not involve sheet metal or tube parts, for example pure machining, woodworking or electronics assembly, CalQore's calculation engine and nesting are not designed for your process. CalQore also runs on Windows only.
